Who am I?

Hi, I’m Lauren, a London-based private chef living in North London. After six years working in food marketing while building a private chef business on the side, I took the leap to turn my passion into my full-time career.

Trained at Leiths School of Food and Wine, I specialise in creating vibrant, seasonal, and deeply personal dining experiences. Every menu is thoughtfully tailored to you, full of colour, creativity, and designed to make your occasion truly memorable.

What People Are Saying

“Lauren was absolutely excellent. The food was consistently outstanding, beautifully prepared, and a real highlight of the week. She was organised, calm, and a pleasure to have as part of the team, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere for everyone. Our guests loved every meal and commented repeatedly on the quality of her cooking. I would recommend her without hesitation and would be delighted to work with her again.

Thank you dear Lauren, come back soon!”

“Lauren Anderson is an absolute joy to have as the chef on my Hideout retreats.

She is truly one of a kind and brings the most wonderful energy to the whole experience. For me, as soon as she arrives, the pressure is off in the food department. She aligns with your hopes and dreams for the retreat food perfectly, and it’s such a comfort knowing the food and nourishment of everyone is in her hands.

From thoughtfully curating the menu to serving up her delicious and nutritious creations, everything she does is done with care. At Hideout Retreats we love working with what’s in season during each retreat and following the seasonal rhythm, and Lauren embraces this beautifully, creating meals that feel fresh, nourishing, and perfectly in tune with the moment.”

“Lauren catered an event for 60 people for us this year, and she did a fantastic job. The food was delicious, perfectly presented and exactly how we expected it. Lauren herself was very accommodating, organised and professional, leaving everything clean and tidy after she was finished. The help she provided was also very good. I would absolutely recommend Lauren, and we will be using her for our next event.”
